Allen Meadows - Score: 94-96 (2022 January)

Cool, pure and restrained aromas include those of both red and dark wild cherry, earth and pretty spice wisps, all of which is trimmed in very subtle wood influence. There is again both excellent intensity and mid-palate density to the equally broad-shouldered flavors that also possess a strikingly attractive texture while delivering superb length if not quite the same depth. Still, this is a first-rate example of the appellation and one that should amply repay extended keeping.
